Aikido Sydney City - Aikido Kenkyukai International (AKI)
Aikido Sydney City offers weekly classes in the Kenkyukai (research group) style of Aikido, a beautiful and dynamic form of moving meditation and non-violent self-defense. Classes are led by Berin Mackenzie (4th dan), an Australian instructor who lived and studied intensively in Japan under the great Takeda Yoshinobu Shihan, an 8th dan Aikido master. We began our classes at Bondi Beach and are now conveniently located in the city, a short distance from Central Railway Station, inside Victoria Park (opp. Broadway and Sydney Uni). All students are treated equally and their individual abilities and goals respected. No experience is necessary and you're welcome to start at any time.
